  • Partial lunar eclipse in Pisces

    Partial lunar eclipse in Pisces

17 September 2024 at 25 degrees of Pisces

    TL:DR

The full moon conjunct Neptune and Saturn helps us see the big picture, and shed light on the part of our lives where we are committing to something for the sake of commitment, hypercritical, inflexible, worry some and getting lost in the details.

We are embarking on a new nodal axis that helps us welcome change, celebrate our individual talents gifts and abilities, and appreciate a higher principle.

The full moon in Pisces is a premonition of the energy we are heading towards in 2025.

Over the last year we have been working with the energy of the North Node (NN) and south node (SN) in Libra. During this transit we have been learning how to pay attention to our inner voice, our own needs and find the things that keep our inner flame burning. We sacrificed debilitating selflessness, co-dependance (overly concerned with external harmony), obsession with fairness and justice in order to heighten our own independence, and self awareness.

The embodiment of Pisces energy is to embrace compassion, non-judgement, freeing the mind, finding the silver lining, focusing on the what not the how, acknowledging connection with the universe, and welcoming change.

The full moon in Pisces activates both Neptune and Saturn alluding to some breakdown in belief , and/or higher order. This can look like a tower moment where structures, ideologies, and systems that have long past their relevance are beginning to crumble. Through the destruction, chaos, and upheaval we are being asked (or told) to build a newer better foundation that celebrates as opposes to scrutinizes, welcomes as opposed to excludes, adapts as opposed to impose.

Pisces energy gets us to look at the bigger picture. Where in the past have we given our own power away to someone else who appeared to have it all figured out, a perfect step by step guide to build the ideal life. Regiment, precise, and totally prescriptive. Think of paint by numbers but for your life.

We want the model to fit our own lives, feeling shame and guilt when an arbitrary measure of success repeatedly is missed, because when is life every like paint by numbers.

The lunar eclipse in Pisces is the beginning of the work to unravel the parts of ourselves that are too caught up in controlling the details (the how) and losing the plot (the what, and why). We will be shifting our focus away from what how we are going to get the things we want form our life and open our selves up for all the ways that wish fulfillment can be delivered to us.

  • New Moon in Virgo: Path to Tangible Improvements

New Moon in Virgo: Path to Tangible Improvements

    @11 degrees of Virgo

The new moon in Virgo helps us take inventory post mercury retrograde, about what didn’t get right that we want to do better now? How can we leverage the lessons to make tangible improvements in our day to day lives?

    Set the record straight

The Sun and Moon are both opposite Saturn at the time of the new moon bringing a sobering energy to the mix. Saturn is about limitations, structure, and doing things the “right way”. This aspect wants us to cut the fluff and get to the essence of something, likely relating to where Virgo is in your chart, and lay the groiund work for eliminating that which is no longer serving you.

Take this time to get aligned with a feeling, goal, or dream. Then break that goal down in to actionable pieces that can be addressed in a sustainable way.

Dont get lost in the sauce

Mars and Neptune will be squaring each other during the new moon. This combination brings an atmosphere of ambiguity. Its important that you do not get stuck in indecision.

Small steps are better than no steps. The purpose of the new moon is to break apart your situation and examine it’s parts so you can figure out what the path forward needs to be to get to a place that is stable, balanced and productive.

  • Full moon in Sagittarius – Big Vision

Full moon in Sagittarius – Big Vision

The key to the full moon in Sagittarius is to stay optimistic, keep the flame alive, and center your big picture. You are at the wheel, determining the direction of your life. Like with all full moons now is a time to release so we can bring in new more aligned things into our life.

Sagittarius wants to be free, to go deep and gain wisdom. At times external pressures seem to work against that drive, they serve no purpose other than to play us out of our own abundance. The take away is to trust ourselves enough follow our own intuition and discernment as we blaze forward.

The plant that co-rules this full moon in Sagittarius is Jupiter, which is still in Taurus. What this tells us is that the universe is here to provide, all we need to do is go out and cultivate the thing that we desire. The only requirement is that you are rooted in your ‘why’ and you are willing to adapt and transform as you need in order to reach that goal. The tallest trees have the deepest roots.

Venus is also a key player in this full moon because it will be conjunct Jupiter. Venus’ influence helps find balance and harmonize the changes necessary to move on.

We are continuing to synthesize the events of the Aries eclipse and the Uranus Jupiter conjunction back in April. What new things have we learned? how are we being asked to adapt. How have we defined and re-defined ourselves? Has this change impacted our course in life. As we march forward with these lessons, the activation of Sagittarius tells us to connect with the part of ourselves that is free of ego and its perceived divisions.
