  • Solar Eclipse in Leo

With the nodes officially on the Leo and Aquarius axis, we’re stepping into eclipse season. The solar eclipse on August 12th activates the South Node, and the South Node highlights what needs to be released in order to let something new in. In simple terms, the South Node is the area of life where we experience rebalancing, corrections, and movement away from the over expression of the sign holding this transit.

This eclipse itself falls in the sign of Leo at 20 degrees. Anyone with Leo placements between roughly 15 and 25 degrees will feel this transit the most, followed by the other fixed signs: Scorpio, Taurus, and Aquarius. Fire signs will feel the push to release and recalibrate (especially Aries placements) though this might be easier to identify and comply since this eclipse will be forming a supportive aspect to this eclipse.

This is the first solar eclipse on the South Node after the eclipse points officially moved into Aquarius and Leo. New Moons are usually about resting, being intentional, and starting something new. But when the new moon comes in the form of a solar eclipse, we are show where we have lost the plot.

Leo is ruled by the Sun, and the Sun represents your spirit, who you are at your core, and how you choose to live. So the eclipse on August 13th takes place in the only sign that is ruled by the sun.

During a solar eclipse, that light briefly goes out, and what gets revealed in the dark is often the gap between who you actually are and who you have been acting as. Whether it’s the peacekeeper, the pragmatist, the follower, the joker. What role have you been playing that no longer helps you express whats really going on in your heart and mind?

This eclipse is also being supported by Saturn, currently retrograde in Aries. The trine between Saturn and this eclipse that provides solid ground for you to stand on. Saturn is the planet acts as the catalyst to let go of what isn’t truly you, the planet that rejects what doesn’t align with your highest expression of yourself, and gives you a sense of anchoring and order in a world that can otherwise feel chaotic. In this instance we are being told to detach from a part of our ego that you curated from other people’s expectations.

The process of releasing from self identifying with this part of yourself will likely bring some friction/anxiety. The work of this transit isn’t to avoid the fear of being seen as the more authentic version of yourself. It’s finding the courage to be rejected by people who want to see you dim.

There’s also outside friction to be aware of. Mars in Cancer is squaring Venus and Neptune during this window, which can create tension between wanting to protect what feels emotionally safe and the need to be fully seen. It can also mean things aren’t quite as they appear on the surface, so it’s worth double checking assumptions before you act on them.

The good news is you’re not doing this without support. Jupiter and Mercury are also in Leo right now, offering some cushion. Jupiter brings opportunity when you take the lead in your own life and create something uniquely your own that brings joy into the world, for yourself and for others. Mercury helps you understand, process, and communicate this process.

Eclipses don’t resolve in a day. This one plants a seed that will keep unfolding over the next six months, so don’t expect clarity by tomorrow morning. 🙂 (this is a 18 month eclipse cycle so don’t think you’re going to be a completely new person after the eclipse give yourself the space to grow into this new expression, don’t force it)

Using whole sign houses, here’s where the eclipse falls for each rising sign and what it’s likely asking of you.

Aries rising: 5th house. The solar eclipse in Leo activates your 5th, the house of children, romance, and creative pleasure. This is house tied to Good Fortune, so the release here tends to feel generative rather than harsh. You may be letting go of a creative project or a way of showing up in romantic dynamics that was more about performance than genuine joy.

Taurus rising: 4th house. The solar eclipse in Leo activates your 4th house governing home, family, and your foundations. Angular houses carry the most weight for action, so expect this release to touch your living situation or a family dynamic directly. Something about how you were raised, or where you live, is asking to be examined and is up for change. (are you moving sometime in the next 18 months? New job? New family member?)

Gemini rising: 3rd house. The solar eclipse in Leo activates your 3rd house of siblings, local environment, and communication. The release here is often about a friend group or an manner of communication that no longer gets your point across, one where you were performing to be liked rather than speaking plainly. Is there a new way you can craft a story that lands with your audience?

Cancer rising: 2nd house. The solar eclipse in Leo activates your 2nd house of resources, possessions, and you sense of self-worth. Eclipses in your second house are a great time to take inventory on what you consume and how that impacts your self-concept. Are you self-possesed (meaning do you own and love what you do and provide?) or do you allow others to own your self concept? through titles, salaries, or talents. You may also be releasing a source of income or a relationship to money that was built on proving your worth rather than genuine security.

Leo rising: 1st house. The solar eclipse in Leo activates your 1st house, the house of self and body. This is as personal as it gets. Expect a shift in how you present yourself to the world, possibly a literal change in appearance, role, or the identity you’ve been leading with. Are you afraid to be seen? if so who benefits from you dimming your light?

Virgo rising: 12th house. The solar eclipse in Leo activates your 12th house tied to hidden things, spirituality, and where you disappear (lose form). The release is likely private, something you process alone before anyone else sees it. Old patterns of self-sabotage or exhaustion may be surfacing to be let go of quietly. Do you really need to understand what your heart wants before you trust on where it’s taking you?

Libra rising: 11th house. The solar eclipse in Leo activates your 11th house of friendships and hopes, traditionally one of the more beneficial places. You may be releasing a friendship or a community that no longer reflects who you’re becoming, making room for people who see you as you actually are. How can you bring people, in your life that reflect this new part of yourself that you are learning to embrace?

Scorpio rising: 10th house. The solar eclipse in Leo activates your 10th house of career and public reputation. This is one of the strongest placements for visible change. A role, title, or public identity you’ve outgrown may need to end so a more authentic one can take its place. Have the courage to be seen as you are, deep, caring, passionate, and solid. What self concept is keeping you from embracing this transformation?

Sagittarius rising: 9th house. This eclipse lands in your 9th house tied to belief systems, higher learning, and travel. You may be releasing a belief about yourself or the world that was handed to you. Who do your beliefs serve? Are your beliefs something you hide behind because you’re afraid of the change the truth brings?

Capricorn rising: 8th house. The solar eclipse in Leo activates your 8th house of shared resources and transformation. This release often runs deep and isn’t always visible to others right away. Something about intimacy, shared finances, or how you merge with another person is shifting. Does someones generosity require you to take on a role that actively hurts you?

Aquarius rising: 7th house. The solar eclipse in Leo activates your 7th house of partnership. Expect impacts to your one on one relationships. A partnership may need more honesty, or an ending, to make space for something new and more aligned. What needs to happen in order for you to show up honestly in your close one on one relationships?

Pisces rising: 6th house. The solar eclipse in Leo activates your 6th house of daily routine, work, and health. The release here often shows up in the body first, a habit, job, or daily obligation that’s been quietly draining you may need to go. What happens when you make more space for joy, creativity, and play in your day to day life?

  • Astrological Highlights for April: What to Expect

April is charged, pressurized, and full of turning points.

If you’ve already been feeling the pressure of 2026 building, April is where it lands. This is one of the most astrologically packed months of the year, and rather than let it catch you off guard, I want to walk you through everything that’s coming so you can move through it with intention.

    Let’s get into it.

April’s astrology at a high level

Before we get into the individual events, here are the four things I want you to hold for the entire month:

    1. Do the thing before April 9. Once Mars moves into Aries, the energy gets heavy fast. If you’ve been putting something off — launch it, send it, sign it — do it now.
    2. April 12–20 is the hardest stretch. Mars hits Neptune, then Saturn. Expect urgency, friction, and fog. This is not the time to make permanent decisions out of panic.
    3. There is a bright pocket. Venus in Taurus forms a beautiful angle to Jupiter around April 12–13. Rest, enjoy something beautiful, let yourself receive.
    4. April 25 changes everything. Uranus enters Gemini for 7 years. The rules are shifting. Stay flexible — this is a beginning, not a crisis.

    The Big Events of April

April 1 — Full Moon in Libra (Square Jupiter)

We open the month with a full moon in Libra. Full moons are always a culmination — something that’s been building reaches a peak, and in Libra, the lens is your relationships. One-on-one dynamics, partnerships, the way you show up with other people — all of it comes into focus here.

Jupiter is squaring this lunation, which adds a layer of complexity. On one hand, Jupiter can bring generosity and optimism — there’s genuine warmth available here. On the other, Jupiter’s shadow is excess: overdoing it, overcommitting, glossing over what actually needs a real look. If you’ve been feeling scattered or ungrounded lately, this full moon may amplify that tendency. Don’t make big promises you can’t keep.

Reflect on this: What relationship dynamic am I finally ready to stop tolerating?

April 3 — Venus Square Pluto

Just two days after the full moon, Venus squares Pluto — and the relational themes intensify. This is a power and control moment. Jealousy, possessiveness, and feelings of not being valued or loved can all surface. Situations requiring ultimatums may come up.

There’s another side to this transit though: new love that forms through instant, magnetic attraction is also possible under Venus-Pluto. If someone new enters your orbit around this time, pay attention — but be discerning. Walk their talk before you trust it. People who position themselves as the solution to all your problems deserve a second look.

The Moon moves into Scorpio the same day, squaring Pluto and opposing Venus, which deepens all of this. The emotional tone is intense and searching. Let yourself feel it — just don’t act from the most reactive place.

Reflect on this: Where in a relationship am I afraid to say what I actually need?

April 4–5 — Sun Square Jupiter

A brief exhale. The Sun squares Jupiter while both planets are in their signs of exaltation, which means this aspect has more warmth and support behind it than a typical square. There can be a mood lift here, a sense of seeing the bright side, a moment of genuine optimism after the intensity of the Venus-Pluto square.

That said, this one is a mixed bag. It can just as easily bring agitation or a desire to escape. Moderation is your friend here. If you find yourself wanting to withdraw, cancel plans, or take time alone — that’s okay. Give yourself some grace.

Reflect on this: What would it feel like to actually let myself rest right now?

April 9 — Mars Enters Aries

This is the threshold of the month. When Mars moves into Aries — the sign it rules — the energy picks up significantly. Mars is at home here, which means it’s strong, fast, and direct. Everything that follows in April is filtered through this placement.

If you’ve been trying to get things done, this can be productive energy — but it also means that the harder transits coming later in the month have more force behind them. Think of April 9 as the moment the volume gets turned up.

Practical note: Whatever you can launch, sign, start, or send before this date — do it. The pre-April 9 window is your cleanest runway of the month.

April 12–13 — Mars Conjunct Neptune + Venus Sextile Jupiter

Two very different energies land on the same day, which makes this one of the most interesting windows of the month.

Mars conjunct Neptune is energy without clear direction. Mars wants to act; Neptune makes everything foggy. Put them together and you might feel fired up but completely unclear on what you’re actually fighting for — or you might react to something that isn’t quite what you think it is. Sensitive people are going to feel this especially. This is a time to protect your energy, limit exposure to situations that drain or spike anxiety, and be careful about acting on incomplete information.

On the positive side, Mars-Neptune is genuinely excellent for creative work, spiritual practice, and anything that lives in the realm of dreams and intuition. If you can channel the energy there, do it.

Venus sextile Jupiter is the one genuinely gorgeous aspect of the month. It brings ease, pleasure, cooperation, and good fortune. It’s an ideal window for relaxing, making money, and receiving something good. Do not let the intensity of Mars-Neptune drown this out. Let yourself enjoy it.

Reflect on this: Am I acting from clarity right now — or from fear?

April 16 — Mercury Conjunct Neptune

Communication gets murky. Mercury conjunct Neptune is a beautiful transit for meditation, creative writing, and feeling connected to something greater than yourself — but it also brings confusion, miscommunication, and a higher risk of being misled.

Be wary of communication that seems too good to be true. If someone is promising to solve all your problems or showing up as a hero in your story, slow down. The more productive side of this transit brings genuine psychic insight and creative inspiration — but the shadow is deceit, betrayal, and seeing what you want to see rather than what’s actually there.

Practical note: Double-check important communications. Read things twice before you send them. And use this day’s dreamy quality for inner work rather than important decisions.

April 17 — New Moon in Aries

New moons are traditionally a time for rest, reflection, and receptivity — but Aries doesn’t really like to sit still. This new moon may feel restless, like you want to take matters into your own hands right now. That urge is understandable, but Mars is about to meet Saturn in just two days, so charging forward without a clear head isn’t advised.

Instead, use this new moon to get genuinely in touch with yourself. What do you actually want? What do you actually need? This is the beginning of a new lunar cycle imprinted with the energy of Mars-Saturn-Neptune — so the seeds you plant here matter. Plant ones rooted in clarity and self-knowledge, not urgency.

If you’re up before dawn around this time, look east — Mars, Saturn, and Mercury will be visible in a tight conjunction just before sunrise. It’s worth seeing with your own eyes.

Reflect on this: What do I actually want right now — separate from what I think I should want?

April 19 — Mars Conjunct Saturn in Aries

This is the most significant alignment of the month, and I want to describe it clearly so you know what you’re working with.

Mars is hot, fast, and action-oriented. Saturn is slow, cold, and restrictive. When they meet — especially in Aries, where Mars is dominant — it’s like pressing the gas and the brake simultaneously. You want to move forward, but something is resisting. Things that have been simmering can come to a boil. There may be an urgency to act even when acting isn’t wise yet.

This conjunction is traditionally one of the more challenging alignments in astrology. It can feel like force, urgency, friction, and conflict all at once. On a collective level, it often coincides with difficult events. On a personal level, it can feel like hitting a wall, or being pushed through one.

Here’s what will actually help: this conjunction sextiles Pluto, which means there is support available — but only for those who can adapt and stay grounded. Think of it like a pressure test. The ones who get swept up in reactivity struggle most. The ones who can breathe, assess, and move deliberately — even when they feel the pressure — are the ones who come through it powerfully.

The Sun also enters Taurus on this day, which offers a grounding counterpoint. Taurus season asks us to slow down, get sensory, and anchor into what is real and solid. Let that energy support you.

Reflect on this: Where am I being called to act with courage — and where am I being called to wait with wisdom?

April 20 — Mercury Conjunct Mars and Saturn

The day after the Mars-Saturn conjunction, Mercury catches up and joins both planets at the same degree. Conversations become direct, terse, and can escalate quickly. This is not the day to send the passive-aggressive message, have an emotionally charged confrontation via text, or fire off something you haven’t thought through.

Words carry more weight than usual right now. Use that to your advantage — speak clearly and honestly — but bring care to how you say things, not just what you say.

Practical note: If a difficult conversation needs to happen, this energy will surface it. Just make sure you’re speaking from intention, not reaction.

April 23 — Venus Conjunct Uranus at 29° Taurus

Something shifts here. Venus meets Uranus at the very last degree of Taurus — the 29th degree, which astrologers call the anaretic degree. This is a peak, a pivot point, a moment of urgency and completion. It’s also the final Venus-Uranus conjunction before Uranus leaves Taurus for good.

Expect surprises in love, money, or both. A realization you can’t un-see. Something that changes your relationship to what you value. If you’re single, new connection is possible. If you’re partnered, something freshens or shifts. This is exciting energy — disruptive, yes, but also alive with possibility.

On a broader level, this conjunction bookends everything that Uranus in Taurus was about — the reinvention of money, material security, and what we value. Whatever that era meant for you personally, it’s completing now.

Reflect on this: What have I been holding onto that I’m actually ready to let go of?

April 24 — Venus Enters Gemini

Venus moves into Gemini, where love, beauty, and pleasure get expressed through words, curiosity, and connection. Venus isn’t in a difficult placement here — she’s neither in detriment nor fall — she can simply exist and do her thing. Conversations become more flirtatious, light, and intellectually alive. This is a good transit for writing, connecting, and finding beauty in ideas.

April 25 — Uranus Enters Gemini + Sun Square Pluto

This is the horizon-level shift of the month — and arguably of the year.

Uranus enters Gemini for a seven-year transit. The way we communicate, travel, learn, think, and share information is about to be completely reinvented. On a collective level, this is a significant historical shift. On a personal level, wherever Gemini falls in your chart is where you can expect the most unexpected changes, breakthroughs, and new directions over the next seven years.

Things may feel chaotic or disorienting at first — that’s always how Uranus begins. It disrupts before it liberates. The key is to stay curious and flexible rather than trying to control the outcome. If you got a preview of this energy last summer (Uranus briefly entered Gemini July–November 2025), pay attention to what’s returning now. Those seeds are ready to grow.

The Sun also squares Pluto on this same day. It’s an invitation: what are you willing to release so something genuinely new can come through? Uranus opens the door. Pluto pushes you across the threshold.

Reflect on this: What would I think, say, or try if I truly believed the old rules no longer applied to me?

    April by Rising Sign

These readings are best applied by rising sign — that’s the most accurate way to use this. But if you don’t know your rising sign, your sun and moon sign still apply and will resonate.

♈ Aries Rising — 1st House: Self, Identity, Body

April is personal for you in a way it isn’t for anyone else this month. The stellium in Aries means all of this lands directly in your first house — your body, your identity, the way you show up in the world. The new moon on the 17th is a genuine reset for you, a chance to begin a new chapter of self-understanding. Mars meeting Saturn on the 19th is where things get real — you may feel like you’re being tested on who you are, like the universe is asking whether you actually mean it.

The fog around the 12th is asking you to slow down and get clear before you act, which isn’t always your favorite thing. But here’s the good news: your instincts are sharp this month, and you have more power available than most. The key is aiming it well rather than scattering it. Channel the intensity into focused, deliberate action. The pressure you’re feeling right now is forging something in you. Let it.

Hardest moment: Mars conjunct Saturn on the 19th — the pressure is most personal for you.
Brightest moment: The new moon on the 17th — a genuine reset and beginning.
Practical advice: Move deliberately. Your power is real this month — make sure you’re pointing it in the right direction.
Reflect on this: Where in my life am I being called to show up more fully as myself — and what has been holding me back?

♉ Taurus Rising — 12th House: Rest, Retreat, the Unseen

All the Aries activity this month is happening in your 12th house — the most private, internal part of your chart. You may feel the collective tension without being able to name exactly why. Dreams could be vivid. Old emotions or memories might surface unexpectedly. The instinct to withdraw is not weakness right now — it’s wisdom.

Mars-Saturn on the 19th could manifest as exhaustion or a feeling of being blocked in ways you can’t quite see or name. Honor that. The good news is that Venus is moving through your sign all month, and that is genuinely nourishing — you have more beauty and support available than the noise suggests. Lean into it.

Hardest moment: The Mars-Saturn conjunction on the 19th — exhaustion or invisible blocks.
Brightest moment: Venus in Taurus all month — nourishment and beauty close to home.
Practical advice: Protect your sleep. Limit overstimulating environments. Give yourself permission to process quietly.
Reflect on this: What have I been pushing through instead of actually processing — and what would it feel like to let myself truly rest?

♊ Gemini Rising — 11th House: Community, Friendship, Future Visions

The Aries stellium activates your 11th house — your friendships, community, and sense of where you’re headed long-term. Mid-month may bring friction in a group dynamic or a friendship that reveals a crack you’d been papering over. Mercury hitting Mars and Saturn on the 20th could mean a tense conversation in a group setting or online. Tread carefully with words in those spaces.

But here’s the real headline for you: Uranus entering your sign on the 25th is a personal awakening. A seven-year chapter of becoming more fully, authentically yourself begins now. Whatever has felt stuck or misaligned about how you’ve been moving through the world — it starts loosening. Pay attention to what comes up in your friendships this month. They’re showing you something about the direction you’re actually meant to be heading.

Hardest moment: Mercury conjunct Mars-Saturn on the 20th — tense group dynamics or sharp exchanges.
Brightest moment: Uranus entering your sign on the 25th — a personal awakening begins.
Practical advice: Watch your words in group settings mid-month. And stay open to what the disruptions are pointing you toward.
Reflect on this: Which of my relationships and communities are actually aligned with where I’m going — and which am I holding onto out of habit?

♋ Cancer Rising — 10th House: Career, Reputation, Public Life

Your career and public-facing life are in the hot seat this month. The pressure around the Mars-Saturn conjunction on the 19th could look like a clash with authority, a high-stakes deadline, or a moment where you have to stand behind your work under real pressure. Mercury joining the pile on the 20th could bring a sharp or terse exchange at work — choose your words with care.

The emotional tone here might feel exposing, like you’re being watched or evaluated more than usual. But here’s the thing: Jupiter is in your sign all month, and that is not nothing. You have genuine support and expansion available — more than the stress makes it feel like. Stay visible. You have more backing than it feels like right now.

Hardest moment: Mars conjunct Saturn on the 19th — pressure at work or with authority.
Brightest moment: Jupiter in Cancer all month — support, expansion, and opportunity.
Practical advice: Don’t let the mid-month friction make you shrink. Let Jupiter carry you where it can.
Reflect on this: Where have I been playing small in my career or public life — and what would it look like to take up the space I’ve actually earned?

♌ Leo Rising — 9th House: Beliefs, Travel, Meaning, Higher Learning

The Aries stellium lands in your 9th house — the part of your chart that governs your worldview, your philosophy, your sense of what life means. What you believe to be true may be challenged this month, and that can feel destabilizing in a deep way. Mars-Neptune around the 12th is particularly pointed for you — confusion or disillusionment around a belief, a mentor, a spiritual practice, or a plan to expand your life in some direction.

The emotional tone is a kind of groundlessness — like the map you were using no longer fits the terrain. Resist the urge to grab onto any new ideology or authority figure too quickly in the fog. What replaces the old beliefs will be more genuinely yours if you give it time to form. This is a clearing, not a collapse.

Hardest moment: Mars conjunct Neptune on the 12th — confusion around beliefs or mentors.
Brightest moment: Sun square Jupiter on the 4th–5th — a moment of vision and possibility.
Practical advice: Let the uncertainty be productive. Don’t rush to fill the space that opens up.
Reflect on this: What story have I been telling myself about what’s possible for my life — and is it still true?

♍ Virgo Rising — 8th House: Shared Resources, Intimacy, Transformation

Aries is your 8th house — the part of the chart that deals with what you share with others: money, debt, emotional intimacy, and the deep stuff that doesn’t come up in polite conversation. Murky financial situations or unspoken tensions in close relationships are likely to surface, especially around the Mars-Saturn conjunction on the 19th.

This may feel uncomfortable — like things you’d rather leave alone are being forced into the light. But the 8th house is also where real transformation lives. What comes up now is coming up because it’s ready to be dealt with. Approach shared financial conversations with patience rather than urgency, and in intimate relationships, the thing that feels hardest to say is probably exactly what needs to be said.

Hardest moment: Mars conjunct Saturn on the 19th — shared finances or intimacy brought to a head.
Brightest moment: Venus sextile Jupiter on the 12th–13th — a window of ease around shared resources.
Practical advice: What’s surfacing is ready. Meet it with honesty rather than avoidance.
Reflect on this: What have I been avoiding in a close relationship or financial situation that actually needs my honest attention?

    ♎ Libra Rising — 7th House: Partnerships, One-on-One Relationships

The full moon opens in your sign on April 1st, and the whole month keeps returning to the theme of your closest relationships. Aries is your 7th house — the house of partnership — which means all of this Aries energy is landing directly in the space of your one-on-one connections. A partnership, romantic or professional, may be tested or brought to a decision point around the 19th.

Mars-Neptune around the 12th could create a moment of confusion about someone’s intentions or your own feelings. The emotional tone is relational tension — a feeling that something needs to be addressed that you’ve been carefully avoiding. Libra’s instinct to keep the peace can be its own kind of avoidance. This month is asking for more honesty than comfort. Don’t make permanent decisions in the fog of mid-April — but do have the conversation that’s overdue.

Hardest moment: Mars conjunct Saturn on the 19th — a partnership is tested or brought to a decision point.
Brightest moment: Full moon in your sign on April 1st — clarity and culmination.
Practical advice: Have the conversation that’s overdue. Clarity is kinder than prolonged ambiguity.
Reflect on this: What conversation have I been putting off — and what would actually change if I finally had it?

♏ Scorpio Rising — 6th House: Health, Daily Routine, Work

The 6th house governs your day-to-day — your routines, your physical health, your relationship to work and service. All the Aries intensity lands here, which means the pressure is likely to show up in your body and your schedule. Overextension is the main risk for you this month, especially around the Mars-Saturn conjunction on the 19th, which could manifest as burnout, a physical flare-up, or a workflow that completely breaks down.

Mercury joining the pile on the 20th could bring tension with a coworker or a miscommunication about responsibilities. The emotional tone is a kind of grinding frustration — like you’re pushing hard but not getting traction. Your body is your barometer this month. When it says rest, rest. Small, consistent adjustments to your routine will serve you far better than dramatic overhauls.

Hardest moment: Mars conjunct Saturn on the 19th — burnout, physical pressure, or workflow disruption.
Brightest moment: Venus sextile Jupiter on the 12th–13th — a genuine window of ease.
Practical advice: Protect your energy literally. Sleep, nourish yourself, don’t overextend.
Reflect on this: Where in my daily life am I running on empty — and what one small thing could I do to genuinely take care of myself this month?

♐ Sagittarius Rising — 5th House: Creativity, Romance, Joy, Self-Expression

The 5th house is where your creative life lives, your capacity for joy, your romantic experiences, and how you express who you truly are. With all of Aries activating this space, something you’ve been building — a creative project, a romantic connection, a vision for how you want to be living — is being stress-tested this month.

Mars-Saturn on the 19th could feel like a block or a confrontation in this area, like something you love is suddenly requiring a lot more from you. The emotional tone is frustration mixed with real passion — you care deeply, which is why the friction hurts. Don’t abandon what matters to you at the first sign of resistance. The 5th house rewards those who stay. If it’s worth creating or nurturing, it’s worth fighting for thoughtfully.

Hardest moment: Mars conjunct Saturn on the 19th — friction or blocks in creative or romantic life.
Brightest moment: Mars conjunct Neptune on the 12th — creative energy and imaginative fuel.
Practical advice: Stay with what you love. The friction is part of the process, not a sign to quit.
Reflect on this: What am I in the process of creating that deserves more of my patience and commitment than I’ve been giving it?

♑ Capricorn Rising — 4th House: Home, Family, Roots, Private Life

Aries is your 4th house — the most private part of your chart, governing your home, your family of origin, and the foundation you stand on. All of April’s intensity is landing in your private world, which can feel particularly unsettling because this is usually the place of refuge. Old family dynamics or unresolved patterns from your upbringing may resurface around the Mars-Saturn conjunction on the 19th. A living situation may feel unstable, or a family relationship may come to a head.

The emotional tone is a deep, quiet unsettledness — like the ground beneath you is shifting. This is less about solving and more about releasing. What you’re shedding in your home life or family patterns is making room for something more structurally sound. Don’t rush to restore the old normal — let the new one emerge.

Hardest moment: Mars conjunct Saturn on the 19th — family tension or home instability.
Brightest moment: Taurus season beginning on the 19th — grounding, sensory anchoring.
Practical advice: Approach family dynamics with patience. What’s being released is making room for something better.
Reflect on this: What pattern in my home life or family relationships am I ready to stop carrying — and what would I build in its place?

♒ Aquarius Rising — 3rd House: Communication, Local Community, The Mind

The 3rd house governs how you think, speak, write, and connect with the people and places in your immediate environment. All the Aries energy lands here, which means your mind is going to be busy — possibly overwhelmed — and the way you communicate is under pressure all month. Mercury tangling with Mars and Saturn on the 20th is particularly pointed for you: conversations could turn sharp, misunderstandings are likely, and something said in haste could do real damage.

The emotional tone is mental overstimulation — too much information, too many inputs, not enough clarity. Slow down before you speak or send. The impulse to react quickly will be strong — resist it. And on the other end: Uranus entering Gemini on the 25th activates your 5th house, sparking creative breakthroughs and new ways of expressing yourself. The mental chaos of this month is clearing space for genuinely new ideas.

Hardest moment: Mercury conjunct Mars-Saturn on the 20th — sharp words and misunderstandings.
Brightest moment: Uranus into Gemini on the 25th — creative sparks and new self-expression.
Practical advice: Slow down before you communicate. The right words are worth waiting for.
Reflect on this: Where have I been communicating from a place of reaction rather than intention — and what do I actually want to say?

    ♓ Pisces Rising — 2nd House: Money, Values, Self-Worth

Aries is your 2nd house — the house of what you have, what you value, and how you feel about your own worth. Financial pressure is the most likely manifestation of the Mars-Saturn conjunction on the 19th for you, whether that’s an unexpected expense, a difficult conversation about money, or a moment of reckoning with how you’ve been valuing your own time and energy.

Mars-Neptune around the 12th could bring confusion around finances or a situation where something isn’t quite what it seems — read the fine print, and don’t make big financial moves in the fog. The emotional tone is a scarcity feeling — a worry that there isn’t enough, or that you aren’t enough. That feeling is the transit talking, not the truth. Venus sextiling Jupiter around the 12th and 13th is genuinely good news for your resources. Lean into it, receive what’s available, and let it remind you of your actual value.

Hardest moment: Mars conjunct Saturn on the 19th — financial pressure or self-worth reckoning.
Brightest moment: Venus sextile Jupiter on the 12th–13th — genuine support for your resources.
Practical advice: The scarcity feeling is the transit talking, not the truth. Receive the good that’s available.
Reflect on this: Where have I been undervaluing my own time, energy, or worth — and what would it look like to actually honor what I bring?

April is a lot — but you are not helpless in it. The sky doesn’t do things to you. It does things through you. Stay grounded, stay curious, and come back to this post whenever you need a reminder of what’s happening and why.

If you want to go deeper on your personal chart this month, I’d love to work with you. Drop a comment below with your rising sign and let me know what’s landing for you. 💛

  • New Moon in Gemini – May 27, 2025: A Mental Reset with Lasting Impact

The New Moon in Gemini on May 27, 2025, invites us into a dynamic mental space—one where curiosity is a guide, words are tools for transformation, and perspective shifts can ripple through our lives in subtle but meaningful ways.

The days leading up to this New Moon have carried a sense of ease, thanks in part to the Scorpio Full Moon on May 12, which activated unpredictable Uranus and left many feeling vulnerable, exposed, or raw. What’s being offered now is not a return to certainty, but rather a flexible, adaptable mental framework for moving forward.

Let’s take a closer look at the astrological landscape of this lunation—and how to align with it intentionally.

New Moon in Gemini: Curiosity as a Compass

Gemini is an air sign ruled by Mercury. The star of Mercury signifies education, writings, disputation, speech, brotherhood,
interpretation, numbers, calculations, geometry, commerce, youth, play,
theft, community, messages, service, profit, discoveries.

When the Sun and Moon meet here, we enter a lunar cycle that supports exploration over resolution, and engagement over withdrawal. In Gemini, we seek stimulation and variety—we want to know more, communicate more, try things out, and see what sticks.

This lunation is an opportunity for a mental reset. It’s not necessarily about planting a flag in the ground and declaring a fixed outcome. Instead, it’s about making space for movement—reframing ideas, testing new approaches, and loosening rigid thinking patterns.

Unlike an earth-sign moon that might ask us to commit to a plan or produce results, this New Moon favors mental agility. That means allowing yourself to brainstorm, imagine alternatives, and follow threads of inspiration, even if you don’t know where they lead yet.

How to Work with This Energy

Rather than manifesting fixed goals, this New Moon is better suited for setting intentions around flexibility, curiosity, and intellectual growth. Here are a few grounded ways to work with Gemini’s adaptable energy:

    • Engage in spontaneous writing or sketching to access thoughts beneath the surface. Let it be messy, nonlinear, or fragmented—this is about movement, not polish.
    • Start a book you’ve been drawn to, particularly one that teaches you something new or shifts your perspective.
    • Rethink how you approach a specific area of your life—a hobby, your communication style, your daily rituals—and consider experimenting with a new structure or rhythm.
    • Reconnect with your local environment or immediate community. Gemini rules the 3rd house of neighborhoods, siblings, and short-distance travel. Reach out, take a short trip, or start a conversation that matters.

This is also a good time to step back from overthinking and let your mind breathe. Turn off the endless scrolling. Take a walk without a podcast. Let thoughts come and go without attaching to every one. Gemini teaches us that not every idea needs to become a belief.

Pluto in Aquarius Trine the New Moon: Subtle Yet Powerful Shifts

This New Moon forms a harmonious trine to Pluto in Aquarius, offering a backdrop of deep transformation and empowerment through thought. While trines are not loud or disruptive like squares or oppositions, they allow energy to flow smoothly—especially when we consciously engage it.

Pluto in Aquarius is reshaping our collective relationship with technology, community, and truth. In trine to the New Moon in Gemini, it supports a process of internal reprogramming. This is a potent time to challenge old mental frameworks and clear out internal narratives that no longer serve.

You might experience this as a quiet but resolute shift—an awareness that a certain story you’ve been telling yourself (about your capacity, your relationships, your worth) is simply outdated. This is a supportive time to replace it with something more empowering, grounded in your present reality.

Mercury Cazimi on May 30: A Message Becomes Clear

Just three days after the New Moon, on May 30, we experience a Mercury cazimi—when Mercury is exactly conjunct the Sun and sits in the “heart” of it. This is traditionally considered a moment of clarity, insight, and symbolic rebirth for the planet.

Since Mercury rules Gemini and is also the ruler of this lunation, this cazimi acts like a cosmic spotlight on your thoughts, communications, and decision-making. If your New Moon intentions felt abstract or disorganized, you may find around May 30 that something clicks. A piece of information, an internal realization, or an external conversation could help you integrate the shift that began at the New Moon.

This is a great day to journal, have an honest conversation, or return to a topic you’ve been mentally circling. What becomes clear now may influence the path ahead for the entire lunar cycle.

    Bringing It All Together

The May 27 New Moon in Gemini initiates a period of mental exploration, reframing, and small but powerful shifts in awareness. What began around the Scorpio Full Moon as a disruptive unveiling can now be restructured into something useful, even transformative.

Gemini reminds us that our thoughts are tools. The ways we think, speak, and narrate our experiences influence not just our internal lives, but the way we show up in the world. This lunation offers the opportunity to rewrite internal scripts, rediscover curiosity, and speak with more clarity and confidence.

Approach this moon not with heavy expectation, but with lightness. The most meaningful transformation might not come from a grand gesture, but from a new way of thinking about something familiar.

  • New Moon in Sagittarius

    New Moon in Sagittarius

The New Moon in Sagittarius: Embracing Possibilities and Trusting the Unknown

The new moon in Sagittarius invites us to step into a space of boundless potential and infinite possibility. Under this lunation, all possibilities exist—but only if we are willing to release our grip on certainty and trust in the magic of the unknown.

This is the last light of the year before we plunge ourselves into the darkest parts of the season. It is a torch we carry through the long nights and brief days. It guides us and reminds us that, though it may seem dark now, the light will return. Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter, infuses this moon with an optimistic glow, encouraging us to dream boldly even when clarity feels far away.

    Living the Questions

As we step into this celestial void, the path will rise to meet us, though it may not be in the way we expect. Sagittarius’ fiery energy encourages adventure, expansion, and the bold pursuit of possibility. Ruled by Jupiter, this moon is brimming with optimism, reminding us to aim high and trust in the abundant opportunities that the universe offers. It invites us to stretch beyond our current limitations and dare to dream bigger.

At the same time, Saturn’s presence asks for a dose of reality. It challenges us to commit to our vision for the long haul, emphasizing that all things worth having require effort and endurance. This isn’t about instant gratification—Saturn reminds us that the journey toward anything meaningful is often hard-fought, not because the universe is against us, but because we must overcome our own self-sabotaging tendencies.

The combination of Jupiter’s expansive vision and Saturn’s enduring willpower offers a potent message: dream big, but prepare to meet the challenges along the way. This moon invites us to look at where we’ve been hesitant to fully commit to our dreams and to embrace the discipline required to bring them to life.

Rainer Maria Rilke’s timeless advice feels especially resonant now: “Live the questions now.” When we are sitting with unresolved questions or longing for answers that seem just out of reach, it can feel unbearable. But Rilke reminds us that we often wouldn’t know what to do with the answers even if they were handed to us prematurely. This moon is an invitation to be patient with the unknown, trusting that your future self will understand what your present self cannot.

These nuggets of wisdom are offerings for times when the uncertainty feels overwhelming. Sagittarius urges us to trust the unfolding of the journey, while Saturn anchors us, ensuring we have the perseverance to stay the course.

    Releasing the Need for Explanation

For many of us, this moon may bring moments of deep introspection. Perhaps you’ve found yourself wrestling with the feeling, “Maybe they don’t understand me, or maybe I’m learning to release myself from the need to explain myself.”

Sagittarius energy thrives in truth and freedom. The new moon may reveal where we’ve been tied to others’ expectations or to the need for external validation. It encourages us to focus on our inner compass—our truth—rather than exhausting ourselves trying to justify our choices to others.

    The Stability of Saturn

Adding to the richness of this moon, Saturn’s influence exerts stability, balance, and reliability. While Sagittarius pushes us to expand, Saturn grounds us, reminding us that lasting growth comes through discipline and commitment. Together, they weave a harmonious balance between dreaming big and taking practical steps to realize those dreams.

This is a moon for visionaries, but also for those who are willing to do the work of carrying that vision forward through the long winter nights. It’s not just about what you want to manifest—it’s about how you show up for it, again and again, even when the path ahead feels unclear.

A Torch for the Darkest Nights

As we close the year and prepare to face the depths of winter, let this Sagittarius new moon be a light in the darkness. It is the torch we carry through the long nights and brief days, guiding us toward hope and reminding us that the light will return. Trust that as you step out into the unknown, the universe will conspire to meet you where you are.

This new moon encourages us to hold our questions gently, to nurture our dreams patiently, and to trust the process of becoming. The answers will come in their time, and until then, may you find solace in the journey itself.

  • New Moon in Virgo: Path to Tangible Improvements

New Moon in Virgo: Path to Tangible Improvements

    @11 degrees of Virgo

The new moon in Virgo helps us take inventory post mercury retrograde, about what didn’t get right that we want to do better now? How can we leverage the lessons to make tangible improvements in our day to day lives?

    Set the record straight

The Sun and Moon are both opposite Saturn at the time of the new moon bringing a sobering energy to the mix. Saturn is about limitations, structure, and doing things the “right way”. This aspect wants us to cut the fluff and get to the essence of something, likely relating to where Virgo is in your chart, and lay the groiund work for eliminating that which is no longer serving you.

Take this time to get aligned with a feeling, goal, or dream. Then break that goal down in to actionable pieces that can be addressed in a sustainable way.

Dont get lost in the sauce

Mars and Neptune will be squaring each other during the new moon. This combination brings an atmosphere of ambiguity. Its important that you do not get stuck in indecision.

Small steps are better than no steps. The purpose of the new moon is to break apart your situation and examine it’s parts so you can figure out what the path forward needs to be to get to a place that is stable, balanced and productive.

  • Greener pastures

    Greener pastures

The new moon in Taurus will be happening at 11:21 pm on May 7th.

During the new moon, Saturn will be making a supportive trine. Venus will be at home in Taurus, and Mars is in Aries. Making this month much lighter and smooth in comparison to April. The link to Saturn makes this new moon especially rewarding if we have been consistently working towards some goal.

Taurus is the sign of the land and all of its physical gifts. Taurus is spring sustained, where the world is alive, fresh, and born again. Taurus are the roots that take hold in the fertile soil giving us food to nourish our hearts and bodies. Taurus is the bloom that paints the world in a full spectrum.

When we we experience the new moon in Taurus its a time to sow new seeds in our hearts, minds, and bodies. Over the next couple weeks as we work with the energy of this lunation, by leaning into the things that make you feel prosperous and abundant. What this might look like it honoring going at the right pace, taking time to appreciate things around you, and surrounding yourself with people and things that help you feel at peace.

Simultaneously we are learning how to integrate the events of the Aires solar eclipse back in April. Where we learned how important it was to define who you are as an individual and accept yourself wholly. We ingrain those lessons by leaning into the energy of Taurus. Which requires us to commit to what we say and do with who we are. What this means what ever truth we learned about ourselves, be need to commit to feed that part of ourselves so that can take root and bloom into something beautiful.

Saturn forming a sextile with this new moon provides additional support as we navigate the energy. When Saturn sextiles the moon there can be a materialization of our emotional desires, or a more objective view of reality. If you are still feeling lost in the sauce with the eclipse energy and can’t find a way to understand the energy of the eclipse, trust your senses at this time they will tell you what needs to be done. This can be for the negative emotions as well as the positive ones. For example, if you feel a sense of shame for not doing something you told yourself you were going to do, that is your sign to get up and do it.

Keep in mind that Taurus’ goal is prosperity. Long term prosperity is a product of sustainable actions and behaviors that get you your desired outcome. If you want to be financially stable do you have a regular ritual where you allocate money so you always have something when you need it? If you want to invite long and happy love into your life do you show up and love your self every day? If you want to improve your health are you taking the necessary steps to take care of what your body needs?

The new moon themes based on your rising sign:

A closing exercise to get in touch with Taurus energy:

Since taurus is a sensual sign meaning that it is involved with the five senses, try experiencing one thing you love with each of your senses. Here is what I have been enjoying.

I’ve been loving to see this AI artist on Instagram who makes these ethereal portraits

I’ve been listening a lot to Cleo Sol’s new album Gold, here’s my favorite song

Some scents that I have been enjoying recently:

    Jasmine incense

For taste chocolate has defiantly been my go to, and a nice cup of chai!

For what I love to touch might bee a bit weird but I love the sensory feeling when I wash my rice. Very ASMR

  • Solar Eclipse in Aries

    Solar Eclipse in Aries

I sat with my anger long enough until she told me her real name was greif.

    C.S.Lewis

The solar eclipse is on April 8th 2:20pm at 19 degrees of Aries.

This eclipse will be in a exact conjunction with Chiron, the asteroid of emotional and spiritual wounds. At the time of the eclipse, Venus will be making a supportive sextile to Pluto, and Saturn and Mars will be approaching their annual conjunction.

This eclipse will be the most impactful for cardinal signs and placements on and around 19 degrees of Aries, (give it a 5 degree orb so 14-24 degrees).

I will be doing this interpretation using whole sign houses, this means that the expression of Aries will be somewhere in your chart based on your ascendant sign. For example if you are a Capricorn rising this eclipse will be happening in your 4th house.

The sign of Aries is all about who you are as an individual, What you feel, how you feel it, and how you act. Aries values inspired action, that feels good in your body. The goal of the eclipse in Aries is to help you define who you are and what you stand for. Even if it means you have to fight for it. But becareful of acting impulsively on your actions. This Eclipse wants you to honor all of your emotions without being controlled by them.

Along for this eclipse activation is Chrion and Mercury.

We have been working with Mercury retrograde since April 1st. This is an opportunity to slow down, feel our feelings, and decide with a level head how we want to move forward. (if not we end up needing to review, reflect, and redo) with this particular retorgrade with mars conjunct neptune in Pisces, you might feel the urge to move forward for the sake of movement without a plan or goal. Try to avoid that.

If you have mercury direct in your natal/birth chart, be mindful of your energy. Are you quick to anger? take a step back and give yourself time to cool off. Do you feel like you need to get to a destination quickly? Is there really a need for immediacy, or is this some sort of manufactured urgency that doesn’t actually get you anywhere?

Mercury retrograde gives you the space to slow down and listen to the fire inside you. Now is the time to get in touch with what feels right and find a way to integrate it into your life.

For those of you with Mercury retrograde in your natal/birth chart. What has been causing energetic congestion in your life? What actions are you taking to clear the crap.

Mercury retorgrade gives you the green light to move forward to our destination. Don’t look back.

With Chiron there is a need to release guilt and shame that is associated with the way that you express youself. If your intentions are honest non-malicious you are supported in your acctions. If youre interested in reading more, check out my chiron in Aries article.

  • New Moon in Pisces

    New Moon in Pisces

    Main aspects:

Sun & Moon conjunct in Pisces

Mars in Aquarius Square Uranus in Taurus

Sun and moon Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus

    ~

Pisces is the sign of connection. When the Moon and Sun meet in this sign it will be within 10 degrees of the planet Neptune. This will magnify the Pisces energy for the next two to 4 weeks. Because of Neptune’s influence on this new moon there can be a mixed bag of energies.

A more easy manifestation of this energy would be a rebirth of creative and expansive energy that inspires us to be something greater than ourselves. It makes me think of that popular question, “ who would you be if you knew you wouldn’t be judged for it?”

The more challenging manifestation centers about lies and illusion. If you are struggling with the latter remember that Saturn is here to ground you in reality and help protect you from the things that drain your energy, including your self. Saturn often gets painted in a negative light, because it does all the things that are needed. It’s presence in Pisces is the dose of lucidity that will work on the part of your chart where Neptune is going unchecked.

Happening around this time is the Chiron conjunction with the north node. The north node is the part of the chart where we are being asked to develop further by rejecting things that aren’t working anymore in the libra part of the chart. Chiron is commonly associated with deep psychological wounds. Both of these energies together in the aries part of the chart will give us the opportunity to release wounds that are keeping us from being fearless.

This will be the last new moon before we kick off the energetic new year once the sun moves into Aries. If you practice manifestation and intention setting during the new moon this is a good time before we dive into eclipse season.
